Bhakti Yoga Club at Cabrillo College serves Prasadam to hundreds

Under the enthusiastic direction of Kamal Krishna Prabhu, our devotees participated in a four day Preaching and Prasadam Distribution program at the local Community College. The devotees happily served over 750 Plates of Prasadam to the very grateful students.

Signs were put up around the campus by the Student Senate who invited us to come.
There were long lines and Kamal Krishna Prabhu designed the layout so that the first table you came to was the book table, Brilliant!
As the students waited in line they were introduced to our beautiful books.
Sometimes the line was held up because of the interest in our book table.
Then, they received prasadam from the smiling Devotees
The president of Cabrillo College, Brian King, receives a plate of Prasadam. He was very happy with the devotees and to taste the Prasadam.
For four days the students lined up...
And the Devotees happily served the Prasadam.

On all four days questions were asked and answered and.....
Books were distributed.
Many devotees happily came to help.
Seeing that there was a break on the stage during the serve-out Kamal arranged for a kirtan group to go up on the stage.
On the first day we followed a very feisty anti-war speech which left the entire area reeling from the intense emotion. Then, magicly with the push of one button the quad was inundated with "Song of the Heart" and everyone's mood was instantly changed and soothed.

Special mention must be given to Sanatani Didi for her tireless efforts in the kitchen.
And to Michele who is our main contact at the college and arranged for all of the transportation for Prasadam and Devotees for this happy event.
