Our tables were set up outside in the middle of the Aptos campus quad. Dhruva Prabhu and Chitra Devi Dasi, both students, came to help serve happily.
The lines formed instantly and the serve out began at a brisk pace.
The line of hungriness was wrapped around like a long snake.
Rice, sabji, chutney, salad and pumpkin bread for everyone.
All over the campus Prasadam was happily received.
Books and invitations to the Temple were also available.
This man wanted to play the kartals.
Mahadevi Devi Dasi and Kamal Krishna Prabhu were the main organizers of this wonderful program.
They worked very hard and long to make it a success.
Adi Kesava Prabhu also helped out.
These ladies loved the Prasadam.
After the main rush there was more time to answer questions...
Although the Prasadam was free several people gave donations and signed up to be on our mailing list.
The boy on the left Krishna Prema (his parents are devotees from elsewhere) joined the Bhakti Yoga Club the following week and came to the Temple.
Afterwards our devotees returned to the temple to take their Prasadam served by Kalindi Didi.
The last day at Aptos, our friend Phoenix, who also helped us in Watsonville, came to our table again.
She joined in and happily took Prasadam.
The campus is not as busy on Fridays but still many people received the mercy,
Our neighbours representing other groups also tasted the prasadam.
People kept coming over to receive a plate and also ask questions.
These young boys were very happy to taste the scrumptious lunch.
Throughout the day the devotees were rewarded with smiles,
serious inquiries and much appreciation.
Annapurna Devi Dasi brought her classmates to take prasadam.
Tulsi Devi Dasi came also.
Phoenix happily helped to serve the Prasadam.
Many showed their apprecation by giving donations.
Phoenix happily served Prasadam to her friend Mahadevi.
This was a very succesful program and we hope to participate in more in the future.
