Our Devotees gathered on the main street in downtown Santa Cruz and began to chant the Holy Name.
The enthusiasm grew and the seated bhajan became dancing kirtan. Passersby joined in.
Many people showed interest and Kamal Krishna Prabhu was eager to share
our books with the sincere inquisitors.

Invitations to the Temple were given out.
Questions were answered.
Books were distributed.
The kirtan continued in this spot for an hour and a half. The devotess took turns leading.

The kirtan party then moved to a new position downtown and there Kalindi Didi in record time gives out a very large stack of invitations.
People were very interested and asked many questions.
Especially this young girl, she was very curious and did not want to leave.
Nalina Sundari still preaching as the sun goes down and the Sankirtan party stayed until the darkness set in, then happily returned to the Seva Ashram.
