Every Thursday the ladies within the Seva Ashram community gather together to hear and chant the glories of the holy names and read from our holy scriptures.

To the delight of everyone Srimati Jivana Didi drove all the way from San Jose after work to join the group.

Krishna Kanti Didi has become a regular participant.

This evening's class was special because we wanted to say goodbye to our dear Divyashakti Didi who is moving back to the holy Sri Navadwip Dham. Many ladies came to honor her and hear her speak.

She spoke beautifully about the importance of chanting inspiring everyone present with her sincerity.

She also led the group in singing the beautiful bhajans with her sweet voice.

Sureshwari Didi is the inspiration for this class. She has organized it and her affectionate, well wishing nature has attracted everyone to participate. Kalindi Didi is pictured on the right.

Meanwhile in the kitchen Mallika and Vrinda Devi Dasis prepare the evening offering.

Sureshwari also made some special preparations and Sripad Janardan Maharaj tests them just to be sure...

All ladies are invited to join us every Thursday starting at 6:30 for arotik followed by bhajans and reading then prasadam. The last Thursday of each month we meet at our San Jose Ashram.
