Travelling Sankirtan Party goes to Eugene, Oregon

Mahadevi and Sushila Devi Dasis as well as Vidura Krishna, Vira Chandra, Kamal Krishna Prabhus set off bright and early with the blessings of the sannyasis, Sripad Siddhanti Maharaj, Sripad B. C. Parvat Maharaj and Sripad Janardan Maharaj.

The auspicious journey to visit our Eugene center was filled with enthusiastic kirtan for most of the drive.

During a rest stop in Mt. Shasta, CA the Harinam party was invited to chant inside a local meditation center. They were invited to come back on future trips where a program could be arranged so that more people could attend.

A break for Prasadam then it was on the road again.

Once in Eugene the days were filled with activities. Here are Ratan Krishna Prabhu and Sushila Devi Dasi preparing samosas for distribution.

Mathuranath Prabhu was happy to receive the visiting devotees to his home and gave full facility for their distribution efforts. Vidura Krishna Prabhu was the capable coordinator for the travelling team.

Krsnangini Didi and Mathuranath Prabhu are the foundation of our Eugene community. With their full affection they gave all facility and much nourishment to our visiting team.

On Sunday our visiting devotees joined Mathuranath Prabhu and Krishnangini Didi for their weekly public program.

Devotees and guests gathered together to hear a lively discussion by both Mathuranath Prabhu and Kamal Krishna Prabhu.

The mood was very enlivening with Srimati Tulasi Devi and much kirtan.

All of the travelling party felt so much happiness and gratitude to have had the opportunity to dive deeper into Srila Gurudev's service. They all look forward to more chances to participate in Sriman Mahaprabhu's ever expanding Sankirtan Mission.
