Srila Acharya Maharaj's first Vyasa Puja Celebration

By Srila Gurudev's, Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda-Dev Goswami Maharaj, mercy we celebrated this year the first Vyasa Puja of Srila Bhakti Nirmal Acharya Maharaj. And for such a grand occasion the devotees prepared a very beautiful feast.

prerakam prachya paschatya sisyanam bhakti vartmani
bhakti nirmalam acharya svaminam pranamamy aham

I offer my respectful obeisances to Swami Bhakti Nirmal Acharya, who is energetically inspiring all of the Eastern and Western disciples on the path of pure devotion.

Anapurna Didi and Mariel, Bimala Didi's niece, who has been staying at the ashram and made many beautiful flower arrangements for the temple room.

Indira Didi helps with many preparations in the kitchen.

The devotees listen intentively as Sarvabavana Prabhu explains that this is our first Vyasa Puja celebration for Srila Bhakti Nirmal Acharya Maharaj.

And everybody happily engages in Kirtan

sri guru carana-padma, kevala-bhakati-sadma,
bando muni savadhana mate
yanhara prasade bhai, e bhava toriya yai,
krishna-prapti haya janha haite

The lotus feet of the spiritual master are the abode of pure devotional service. I bow down to those lotus feet with great care and attention. My dear brother (my dear mind)! It is through the grace of the spiritual master that we cross over this material existence and obtain Krishna.

By Sripad Sarvabavana Prabhus arrangement there was a video of an interview of Srila Acharya Maharaj by Srila Giri Maharaj right after Srila Gurudev had announced that His Holiness would be his successor.

And this brought much joy to all the devotees hearts.

Sripad Parvat Maharaj tells everyone how big and wonderful is His Holiness mood of service, how he takes care of everything around the math in Nabadwip and all around India.
