The preparations for Sri Gaura Purnima began early with Sureshwari Didi visiting Hemant Prabhu of Nuts and Spices who filled her car with donations of grains and spices.
Krishnapriya Didi did the Costco shopping with over 2 dozen gallons of milk purchased.
Everywhere the devotees were preparing for the celebration.
Nowla Kishor and Ratan Krishna Prabhus assisted Mahadevi with the Temple decorations.
Ratan Krishna Prabhu helped to string the fragrant garlands for the intricate decorations over the Vyasasan.
Visiting from our Canada Mission were Amiya Kanti Didi and young Jaganath Das.

The Temple room was very festive and the Vyasasan was decorated with a very beautiful and delicate arrangement of fragrant flowers and eucalyptus leaves.
The devotees gathered early to help and join in the Bhajans.

As the devotees gathered they joined in the chanting of the many many songs in honor of this holy day.

At the auspicious time for arotik the Temple room was full and Their Lordships appeared resplendant in their new garments.
The devotees then gathered to hear and chant the beautiful verses from the Chaitanya Caritamrita describing the Divine Appearance of our most benevolent lord.
Sarva Bhavana Prabhu read the translations after they were chanted.
Then once again it was time for a very enthusiastic kirtan in front of Sri Sri Guru Gauranga Gandharvika Giridhari Jiu.
It was a very beautiful program followed by a sumptuous feast
then the next day was Sri Jaganath Misra Mahotsav.....
The devotees gathered again to hear more and chant more about the glories of Sriman Mahaprabhu.
The chanting was shared with happy hearts.
