After the UCSC Bhakti Yoga Club we like to head downtown to continue chanting and talking with seekers about Krishna Consciousness. Mahadevi Didi brought a blanket and song books so that we could all sit together and sing many different songs in glorification of our Divine Acharyas, the great Vaishnavas, and Sri Sri Gaura Nitai. She was inspired by memories of sitting together on the street with Sripad Bhakti Premik Siddhanti Maharaj, Sripad Bhakti Kamal Tyagi Maharaj, and many other devotees in past years.
Several people were attracted to the books of our Divine Guardians and joined with us in chanting. One young man was so inspired by talking with Ratan Krishna and Virachandra Prabhus that he came to the Sunday feast.
Sushila Didi, Ratan Krishna Prabhu, Mahadevi Didi, Jamil, Nowla Kishor Prabhu, Nicole, Blake, Maheshwari Didi, and Virachandra Prabhu all participated.
Maheshwari Didi played mridanga and everybody had a turn leading the chanting.
Virachandra Prabhu amused everyone by hiding behind trees and climbing up high in search of the perfect photograph.
The mood that day was very jolly. After all, we had felt so inspired at UCSC that we just naturally ended up downtown for another two hours of Harinam Sankirttan. What could be jollier?

Another beautiful meeting of the Bhakti Yoga Club at Cabrillo College.
Many students have been attending every week. Mahadevi Didi and Nowla Kishor Prabhu have been keeping this club going year after year.
Virachandra Prabhu talks with a student and honors prasadam.
This week we had a very good turnout! Blake has a way of capturing everyone's attention.
Looking closely you may recognize Ramachandra Prabhu, Krishnananda Prabhu, Maheshwari Didi and James (a seeker visiting the Ashram from Eugene, Oregon).
